I’m excited to share that I’ve officially graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences (BCIS), majoring in Software Development with a minor in Data Science and Computer Science.

This journey has been both challenging and rewarding. Through a mix of theory and hands-on projects, I’ve had the opportunity to work across areas such as software engineering, operating systems, computer graphics, game programming, mobile application development, and applied AI. More importantly, I learned how to turn concepts into real, working systems — whether that meant debugging low-level code, building interactive applications, or working with real-world data.

One of the most valuable parts of my degree was learning by building. From developing complete gameplay systems in C++ and OpenGL, to working with children’s speech data in an industry-collaborative AI project, these experiences shaped how I approach problem solving and software design.

I’m grateful to my lecturers, teammates, friends, and family for their support throughout this journey. Their guidance and encouragement made a real difference, especially during the more demanding parts of the degree.

As I move forward, I’m excited to continue learning, building, and growing as a software developer, and to apply what I’ve learned in real-world engineering environments.
